The mission of St. Louis Catholic Academy is to provide a culture of excellence for our students and their families so that each member of our community might grow in learning, by faith, and with character.

This will be lived out in the following core areas:

  • Each student will learn of God’s love for them and share that love through service, respect for others and care for the earth.
  • Each student will grow in knowledge of the world through the exploration and study of a wide range of subjects.
  • Each student will grow in self-esteem and self-respect by living responsible lives of service to the larger community.
  • Each student will grow in understanding the diversity that enriches and the unity that connects people of all cultures.
  • Each student will develop their gifts and talents as completely as possible.

St. Louis Catholic Academy offers a holistic curriculum that addresses the academic, social, and spiritual development of every student. Our curriculum builds upon the foundations of education and allows for continuous strengthening of skills as students progress from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our comprehensive program is designed to meet each student where they are academically, socially, and spiritually and bring them to their highest level of achievement.

Students in grades K – 8 receive daily instruction in the following core subject areas:

  • English/Language Arts
  • Mathematics
  • Reading/Literature
  • Religion
  • Science
  • Social Studies

In addition, students in grades K – 8 attend Art, Computer, Music, and Physical Education classes.

Teachers employ best practices and differentiated learning techniques in their instruction of students. A learning consultant works with the teachers to ensure the unique learning needs of all students are being met. Academic support is provided through Title 1 classes and one-on-one and small group tutoring.
