Summer Fellowship: Farewell, Amariyon Green!
As the summer winds down, we bid a fond farewell to our fellow, Amariyon Green. A rising junior at Washington University in St. Louis double majoring in Educational Studies and African/African-American Studies, Amariyon is a member of the inaugural cohort of the Pershing Fellowship in Nonprofit Leadership. This summer, he split his time between the programming and administrative teams at Access and worked with our summer school and Summer Scholars programs, as well as on various research projects. With a clear commitment to the Access mission and a natural ability to connect with our students, Amariyon was a true asset to the organization. We are grateful to have had him on the team and wish him the best of luck as he returns to school. A sincere thank you, as well, to the Pershing Charitable Trust for funding this exciting new opportunity.
