New ‘Enrichment Captain’ Program Empowers Students at St. Cecilia

This year, we launched a new initiative at St. Cecilia School & Academy to give our Access students more leadership opportunities, as well as to provide them with fun activities designed to help each grow and advocate for themselves. Six students were selected as Enrichment Captains and tasked with taking attendance, managing and distributing snacks, collecting cell phones, making important announcements, and more. All six captains — Andrea, Anthony, Rosa, Alexander, Dayancy, and Arturo — did an awesome job and helped ensure the program’s inaugural year was a huge success! We’re excited to expand the program to our other partner schools in the fall.
