Meet the Team: Sky Hunter, College & Career Counselor

Hard to believe, but it’s already been a year since Sky Hunter joined Access as a College & Career counselor. And what an exciting year it’s been as our C&C team continues to grow and guide our students onto their best-fit post-secondary path. A former math and science teacher at two of our partner middle schools, Sister Thea Bowman and Most Holy Trinity, Sky works with our current collegians while also organizing college visits, ACT Prep, and ‘Access 2 College’ programming. “I love being able to help my students overcome challenges and plan for their future,” she says. “It’s a joy helping young people transition into adulthood.” In her free time, Sky likes to hike and visit new parks.
