Grad Support Attends NCAN Conference
Always committed to finding new strategies to support our students on their journey to higher education, the Access Graduate Support team traveled to Anaheim this month for the National College Attainment Network’s (NCAN) Annual Conference. This year’s conference featured over 84 sessions and workshops across three days and covered topics ranging from postsecondary access and readiness to career preparation and student mental health.
“It’s always helpful and validating to hear how others are guiding and supporting students along a wide array of postsecondary and career pathways,” said Amy Clark, our College and Career Director. “It was fun to bond as a team and hang out with our peers from Marian and Loyola, as well as other colleagues from our community, and such a treat to catch up with [Access collegian] Judith Vazquez-Perez over dinner.”
