Congratulations to Access Board Member Angela Carr, Vice President and Chief Impact Officer at NinePBS, for winning a 2023 Mid-America Emmy Award for her part in the animated children’s series, Drawn In: Brave Hero Part 2! “A multimedia literacy initiative designed to encourage emerging readers, Drawn In is a series of epic adventure stories set in a bustling Midwestern city where the kids use problem-solving and literacy skills to set their world right again from cartoon mayhem.” The show, which debuted last year, won in the Entertainment (Short Form Content) Category.
