Access Grads Excel In College Football Playoff

While many Access students go on to play sports in college, this year we were thrilled to cheer for not one—but two—Access graduates in January’s College Football Playoff! First, University of Notre Dame’s sophomore running back Jeremiyah Love—a graduate of CBC High School (’23) and Most Holy Trinity (’19)—helped lead the Irish to a thrilling victory over Penn State University before falling short in the national title game. In the other semifinal, despite an impressive freshman season, wide receiver Ryan Wingo (St. Louis University High School ’24 and St. Cecilia School & Academy ’20) and his University of Texas Longhorns failed to advance against eventual national champion Ohio State. Win or lose, it was fun to watch Access students excel not just in the classroom but also on the gridiron.
