Collegian Update: Alayla Greene

An alumna of Rosati-Kain Academy (’22) and St. Louis Catholic Academy (’18), Alayla Greene is thriving as a junior nursing major (with a minor in health studies) at Prairie View A&M University in Texas. She is fully engaged in campus life and holds key leadership roles for the National Out-of-State Student Organization and Sanity Sistas, while also participating in Panther Advisory Leaders, Helpers Advancing the Lives of Others, and the National Society of Black Women in Medicine. In addition to her studies and extracurriculars, Alayla oversees the safety of 72 students in her campus job as a Community Assistant — a role she says has driven her personal and professional growth. This spring, she plans to apply to Prairie View’s nursing school in Houston and is eager to see where her education journey leads. “Between holding a job, going to class, and serving as a student leader, I’ve had my hands full,” Alayla says. “But it’s nice to see all my hard work paying off.”
