Congratulations to Our 2024 Charlie Glik Scholarship Winners

We are thrilled to announce that Ashanti Wilson from Sister Thea Bowman Catholic School (pictured left) and Dayancy Rodas from St. Cecilia School & Academy (pictured right) are the recipients of this year’s Charlie Glik Scholarship! The $1,000 award, generously given annually by the Glik family in memory of their son Charlie, is based on an essay titled “How I Will Give Back to My Community After College Graduation.” Traditionally awarded to a single outstanding student from our three eighth-grade classes, this year the Glik family recognized two exceptional candidates. Both Ashanti and Dayancy stood out for their inspiring essays and commitment to community service. They received the awards during their respective graduation ceremonies, and the scholarship funds will be applied to their high school tuition in the fall. Ashanti will continue her education at Incarnate Word Academy while Dayancy will attend Notre Dame High School. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to these remarkable young women and wish them the best of luck.
